TOGETHER WE WILL RISE AGAINST COVID-19

COVID-19, an infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered coronavirus. It has affected the whole world. Many of the countries are following lockdown. It is a critical situation all around the world. The main motive is to raise the standard for social distancing. It is because having a social distance can prevent this disease.
According to the report of WHO (WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION),
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, those who have underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer, are more likely to develop severely illness.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease its causes, and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently and not touching the face.
Due to the pandemic of COVID 19, the count of our fellow citizens who has been infected has crossed the scary figure of 19000. Our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi Ji, has announced the lockdown till the 3rd of May to maintain social distancing by staying at home to prevent the spread of this deadly virus.
In my opinion, to prevent the spread of this virus, we had to flatten the curve!
So, what is the term to flatten the curve, or what does it mean?
The underlying meaning of flattening the curve is to make balance. Balancing the environment, balancing the number of positive cases with less interaction.
Then how do we flatten the curve?
That is where social distancing comes in; it involves avoiding people or places where it is possible to come in contact with germs by droplets, direct contact, or in contact with the surfaces that are potentially contaminated with the virus. For many, that means working from home and staying in, rather than going out to bars or restaurants. But while not everyone can or will be able to do that, public health officials say, it is our best shot at slowing down the transmission of the virus.
So the essential requirements to flatten the curve would be:-
1-AVOID CONTACT- Stay home. If you have to go out, avoid close contact.
2-WASH YOUR HANDS thoroughly and frequently and do not touch your face.
3-STAY CALM Avoid panic and lend a helping hand when it is safe.

These are the basic terms to flatten the curve!

HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

As we are in the lockdown but some super-warriors like the Doctors, Police, Delivery boys are risking their lives to help us. They are providing service to everyone and helping to cure the disease and to prevent us from infection. Then,

What will be our duty towards them?

In simple ways, firstly, we should cooperate with them, help them, respect them, and thank them for keeping their life in danger and helping us during this critical situation by providing essential services. They are the real superheroes in this situation. As we know, there are limited stocks of hand sanitizer and masks available. So we should make them in homes and give it to them for their use because they are doing a great job. We can also help them by donations in a scheme like PM Relief Fund. We can donate blood in blood banks to be used by the patients, as there is much need for the blood. It's time to be a hero, and as you know that ''Heroes comes in all types and sizes". If you want to donate the blood and are not getting the exact way during this lockdown, so do not worry, and contact the several NGOs of the blood bank like Blood Connect. They are helping everyone to fight against the blood shortage crisis in India. They are providing blood in emergency cases.

Please donate blood!

"Social distancing does not mean Social disengagement".

Protective measures :
The need for protective measures in terms of the Health Care System is essential to fight against COVID 19. Protective measures mean appropriate technical and organizational measures taken to prevent and control infectious diseases. According to the survey of NEW YORK TIMES, it has been found that slowing the spread of the infection is nearly as important as stopping it.

So, Protective Measures are also necessary!

FOOD BANKS

As we all know, food is so crucial in our daily life. However, due to lockdown, many daily wage workers and poor people cannot get food.

So, what does a food bank mean?

Foodbanks are a place where stocks of food, typically necessary provisions and non-perishable items, are supplied free of charge to people in need. There are many NGOs who are providing food to such type of people who cannot fulfil their basic needs. These NGOs are also providing free food items to them.
There are many food banks like FEEDING INDIA ORGANISATION, and it is a type of food bank. So help them and let us strike out hunger together.

FOLLOW THE FRAMES

When our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi Ji addressed the nation on 14th April, extending the lockdown till the 3rd  of May, then he told us seven things to remember and follow them during the lockdown.
In my opinion, there are 6 out of 7 things which are necessary to be followed by the youth and every citizen of the country. These six things are to be strictly followed by everyone.  The measures are shortened as 'FRAMES ;

F- Face mask and sanitizer's use is essential.
R- Respect the real warriors (Doctors, Police)
A- Aarogya Setu the app should be downloaded on your mobile phones
M- Ministry of AYUSH is providing information on the healthy immune system, it  should be conveyed to everyone
E- Essentially need and poor people should get help
S- Senior citizens should get priority in the lockdown; we should take care of them.

These were the six things mentioned by our Prime Minister, Sir.

We should follow the FRAMES.

TOGETHER WE WILL RISE.

LET'S FIGHT COVID 19

STAY SAFE!
